On September 6, 2024, the Government promulgated Decree No. 111/2024/ND-CP regulating the National Information System and Database on Construction Activities (“Decree 111”). This is the first time Vietnam has issued a legal document comprehensively and specifically governing the development and management of the national information system and database on construction activities. This system will collect, store, manage, and share information on construction planning, construction investment projects, construction works, construction norms, construction costs, and other related activities. Decree 111 takes effect from November 1, 2024.
