ALTAS provides comprehensive ongoing legal consulting services tailored to each client’s specific needs, ensuring peace of mind and strategic legal guidance.

Scope of Services

We offer legal consulting and representation services, including:

• Advising on legal issues arising from daily business operations under Vietnamese law.

• Assisting in drafting and reviewing business transactions, documents, and related records.

• Supporting clients in meetings and negotiations with business partners or government agencies, provided that the client informs ALTAS at least 8 hours in advance for preparation.

• Providing legal documents in Vietnamese upon request. English versions will be available if they exist within ALTAS or public sources.

• Monthly updates on legal regulations and policies related to the client’s business, particularly in investment, corporate, tax, and labor law.

• Other legal consulting services as requested.

Exclusions: ALTAS's ongoing legal consulting services do not include tasks requiring specialized resources, including but not limited to:

• Tax/accounting/payroll & financial advisory services.

• Business or investment project registration and development.

• Registration of any licenses, certificates, approvals, or authorizations required for business or investment activities.
  However, ALTAS will advise clients on the procedures and requirements under applicable laws or government requests.

• Research, registration, appeals, enforcement, legal actions, and other matters related to intellectual property rights.

• Litigation services. For these matters, upon request, ALTAS will advise on the nature of the work and propose a separate service for client approval before proceeding.

Service Execution

The relationship between ALTAS and the client is based on the principle that ALTAS functions as the client’s legal department.

Communication regarding services can be conducted via one or more of the following methods:

• Email

• Telephone and/or fax

• Direct meetings

ALTAS and the client agree that legal consultants providing services will not be considered the client’s employees and will not receive benefits such as insurance or paid leave. ALTAS will determine consultants’ working hours but will ensure sufficient time to meet job requirements.

Standard Working Hours

ALTAS commits that its consultants will be available during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, excluding holidays and weekends).

• Generally, there is no limit to the total monthly consulting hours. However, participation in meetings is capped at 5 hours per month (“Allowed Hours”).

• Additional Fees: If the workload in any month exceeds the Allowed Hours, ALTAS will promptly inform the client of the excess hours. The additional work will be charged at a preferential rate.

Legal Consulting Service Fees and Payment Process

Clients will receive a detailed monthly report on service fees and any incurred costs, including:

• Postal, telephone, copying, document processing, and courier service costs.

• Research expenses and overtime charges for urgent projects requested by the client.

• Filing fees, independent registration, or search services.

• Some internal services may include indirect costs.
