We are extremely proud and delighted to congratulate Pham Quoc Huy, currently a Legal Assistant at ALTAS HCMC and a student at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), for achieving the Second Prize in the 2025 National Student Science and Technology Awards, held on November 8.
The National Science and Technology Award for Students is an annual event co-organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, and the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations (VIFOTEC). The program aims to encourage scientific research among students, enhance the quality of education, and foster a new generation of young scientific talents for the country.
In 2025, the award attracted 628 research projects from 112 universities nationwide, spanning across six major academic fields. Many projects demonstrated creativity, high applicability, and gained recognition from enterprises and reputable academic publications. Notably, about 12% of the submissions belonged to strategic technology fields specified in Decision 1131/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, reflecting the innovative spirit and strong forward momentum of Vietnamese students in the era of national development.
Amid this competitive environment, the research project titled “The State’s Role in Managing Investment Activities under Public-Private Partnerships in Domestic Solid Waste Management”, conducted by Huy’s team, excellently impressed the evaluation committee and was awarded the Second Prize. The project demonstrates strong legal reasoning, a rigorous academic approach, and significant real-world relevance, especially as Vietnam promotes Public–Private Partnership (PPP) models and sustainable waste management strategies.
This achievement is a testament to Huy’s dedication, perseverance, and passion for academic research. It is also a source of great pride for ALTAS CORP (ALTAS HCMC), where Huy has been learning, contributing, and developing professional skills in a practical work environment.
Once again, congratulations to Pham Quoc Huy!
We wish you continued passion, initiative, and academic spirit as you achieve even greater accomplishments in the future. ALTAS HCMC is honored to accompany and support you on your journey.
