VNeID Level 2 has deployed to Foreigners in Vietnam!

According to the latest update from ALTAS, the Immigration Departments in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi have begun piloting the implementation of digital identity registration for foreign nationals under Decree No. 69/2024/NĐ-CP, which will take effect on July 1, 2024. To be eligible for this process, foreign nationals must meet the following conditions:

(1) Possess a valid temporary or permanent residence card in Vietnam.

(2) Hold a valid passport in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.

(3) Use a Vietnamese-registered SIM card under their own name.

Major mobile network providers (Viettel, Mobiphone, Vinaphone) in Vietnam are now offering services to assist foreign nationals in registering SIM cards in their names. Therefore, if the legal representative of your enterprise fulfills these requirements, they may contact the Immigration Office to proceed with their digital identity registration.

Once the legal representative has completed this process, your enterprise may use their VNeID account to complete the identity registration for your business (Eid).
