Red Rain (Mưa Đỏ) is a cinematic work jointly produced by the People’s Army Cinema, HKFilm, and Galaxy Studio. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by writer Chu Lai, and is also inspired by the 81-day-and-night battle to defend Quảng Trị Citadel in 1972.

Set against a heroic historical backdrop, Mưa Đỏ vividly portrays the brutal yet majestic moments of war, highlighting the resilience, indomitable spirit, and great sacrifices of Vietnamese soldiers. More than just a piece of art, the film serves as a heroic epic that reminds today’s generations of the priceless values of independence, freedom, and peace.
